| The only problem I'd see with the Darkroom is that the booth would be a lot closer to your punters, and surrounded by them on 3 sides.
I severely doubt there'd be room for 7 flightcases, and even if there is, your CDs would be ripe for yoinking. There aren't enough security in the building to have a steward with you at all times.
If you got the flicky CD wallet things, it'd be easier, but I don't see it being workable with your current music storage arrangements. Just a point to consider. |

| I've got SOME of my CDs in the flicky wallets right now, and I honestly do hate the bastard things. |

| That's another reason I hate them. It's very easy to scratch your discs. |

| vertigo isnt designed to be a club, the darkroom is the union club, vertigo is meant to be a conference / function suite, with a small bar. and cos its so big and featureless it makes the place look completely dead unless there are a few hundred people in.
and alternate fridays / saturdays would really fuck stuff up though, far too complex.
i think a few one off things on a friday would be worth a go to see how things work out, but try and do it as some kind of event, i cant think how but maybe get a band to play before the club night or something, then hopefully the band punters would stay for the club and possibly come back.

| IT wasn;t that busy after the bands finished.
Everyone fucked off to get stoned in the dressing room. I packed up early because I was pissed off at being expected to DJ to an empty room. |

| the darkroom was heaving the night of the last gig, though it looked like it was gonna be a dead one.
