Guitar Strings

Hiya, *Doink*, I rather broke the high E string on my guitar yesterday and does anyone know how much it'd be to buy a new one (do u have to buy all of them or can u buy them singally??) and also I need the person in the shop to fix it. Sigh, there goes my Italy savings.. Thank you anyone who helps.

It's about a fiver for a set of strings and they're pish easy to fix once you take the back off the guitar so do it yourself.

Anyway I used to be a user of Ernie Ball Super Slinkys gauge 9. They are good reliable strings and only cost about 3.99 for a pack. But that was with my Strat. Now I have my SG I have Gibson strings fitted onto it since they came with the guitar although I'm gonna go back to using my favourite strings, D'Addrio XL's gauge 10 (canny mind the exact spelling), cos they are so good to play! Best strings to get

dont worry their easy replaced,u can buy seperate ones usually less that a quid,but i would get new ones,i spose u can ask the person in the shop to get them in for u,ive never done that,ask him to show u how then u can do it yourself,i Got new strings for a fiver today

yay, cheers all! blush, no i wasnt gona go with a pound, i thot it mighta cost more thats all!!! For me to go to Italy its £150 for 10 days(plus spendin money) coz we stay in a ..(wait for it) CONVENT!!! HAHAHA!!! i love it tho, yay!

When i went to italy it cost me around £400 and we stayed in a shabby hotel that i had to share a bed in....eek!
Next time i go on tour im gonna ask to stay in a convent...sounds amazing

yay Cait, the pretty wee convent! actually it was massive and the view from the bathroom was wow. all the beds were in wee rows like Madeleine. the reason why it is so cheap is coz its a work experience thing and the town we stayed in is about the size of Sauchiehall street! Um..i'll shoosh now coz then scary ppl will say "ah, shut the fuck up bout Italy,no-one cares..."

well its a tiny place called Barga, near Tuscan..near..Lucca...kinda hard to describe!! it was the best 10 days EVER! plus I got to say the guy I loved at the time in shorts and nothing else, yay!
