| Re: Mick's Aussie Adventures Went to the pub last night with my cousin, his friends (and my half cousin) and my uncle Woyum. It was the Q Lounge, which was fuckin' dire two night previous, but this time they had a band playing. It wasn't so much a band as two guys, one with an acoustic and the other electric, and a drum machine playing covers. Some good covers, some bad covers, they played Jesse's Girl, Blister in the Sun, All The Small Things, Walking On Sunshine, Bad Moon Rising and a bunch of other stuff. Was good fun. Anyway my uncle told me stories about his sexual exploits which I listened to with pure morbid curiosity and I got talking to a few of Grant's pals and my half cousin Craig. Grant, however, was a cock.
Firstly he's a bit sleazy in that he tries to pull by acting like a girl's best friend and always has his arm round a girl (and the girl's don't like it much) and get's louder and more aggressive at the night goes on. He calls everyone a dickhead when he's pished and was this close to getting a slap. I think he might just have been acting the cunt to act hard infront of Woyum but who knows? So, to summise Grant, arm round every girl; cock in none.
I think Aussies are a bit less polite than people back home. Last night some twat bumped into me and made me spill my drink and never apologised and I, being a bit drunk, actually raised my hand to slap the bastard 'til my uncle grabbed it. Luckily, I guess, it was the last orders so I told the woman behind the bar to keep the change which happened to be the right amount for another one so she poured me it from that. She was cool tho. I think she fancied me. Whenever there was a cue at the bar she served me first and I was drinking vod and pineapple so she would walk over with it already poured for me. That's what I call service! It aint easy being as pretty as me but there's one benefit I suppose :P
Em... going to a mad English pub tonight. I've decided I hate "English" or "Irish" or "Scottish" or "Australian" or "American" or, fuckin', "French" pubs on the ground that they aren't any of the above but a strange take on the stereotypical version of each. However the "Irish" pub in Surfer's, Landsdowne Road, has some well tasty stew.
Got a 50th tomorro as well. Some guy I don't know. Ach well.. wouldn't hurt to mingle. I'm thinking of booking myself into one of those backpacker's hostels in Melbourne on Sunday so I can have a day up there myself seeing the sights and such. Just gettin' a bit annoyed at doin' everything as part of a big group and if we're all out together for the next two night's it will be well needed I think.
Holiday's improving (or my standard's are lowering) but you ain't lived 'til you've seen a big maori singing "She Will Be Loved" in a nice high pitch voice.

| Re: Mick's Aussie Adventures I was listening to the Lock Up just there - did Phil get a mention in it? I'm sure he gave a shout out to Phil from Greenock.

| yeah but the English (and I assume the yanks) can't pronounce Wemyss so he might have put down Greenock for simplicity.

| Re: Mick's Aussie Adventures It's $35 for a disco biscuit here. That's fuckin' shockin'! If I knew it they cost that much I would have brought a couple of hundred over and made a fortune.
