| Re: Mick's Aussie Adventures Allright - no more Kwanzaa shite. It aint even a real holiday.
Christmas Eve: Pub - Firstly we were at my cousin's uncle + aunt's house. Was very dull. Luckily I was gonna go to the pub anyway but Grant's pals Ebony and Clint were going and invited us. Grant never went but me and Jackie did. Pub was allright but there are only 3 pubs in Melton and one's a dive for old men and one's a nice place for old men. Only the Q Lounge is for youngsters (Imagine The Yard if The Steamie, The Hatt, Harwoods, Text and, god forbid, The Lighthouse all shut down). Then we went to a club called Pure. Mostly dance shite but I got the guy to play Blister in the Sun and he played Bon Jovi and a load of other shite as well including Footloose. Nice one.
Christmas Day: 28 people came round and it was boiling. I played cricket but went for a duck: bowled by a 12 year old. (I'd like to point out, however, that was the only bowl he did all day that went anywhere near the stumps so it was a sucker blow - and I won at football anyway)
Boxing Day: Back home you can't have Boxing Day on a Sunday. Here you can. I'm going to the pub - bu bye x

| Re: Mick's Aussie Adventures Sadly Vuk I don't have an Aussie accent. Did you have a white Christmas in your neck of the woods or do you need to wait for your Christmas still?
I was scared to go in the fuckin' shower after it had died Camza. One of them, not as big tho, ran across my hand earlier in the week as well. Scary beasties out here.

| Re: Mick's Aussie Adventures Heard the latest Morton news Mick? We drew 2-2 with Berwick on Monday, Millar and Marco scored. (we splash out over £100k for a striker and MARCO scores!)
We're also supposed to be signing Shaun Dillon and Paul Di Giacomo on loan, although neither have been finalised. I've only just heard about the Di Giacomo deal (it's been "confirmed" by Jefferies in the Daily Record) but we should have Dillon in before the Dumbarton game on Saturday. Which reminds me, Tommy, do you have Phil Scally's mobile number? I wanna see if he's goin on Saturday, can you PM me it? Cheers.
Hope you're having a good time Mick, see you soon. |
