1. From the
forum index, click on the forum where you want your poll to be placed - For example, if you want to create a poll to establish which is the most important sport, you'd click on
the sport and fitness forum.
2. Click on the New Thread button which will be on the left hand side of your screen above the thread list.
3. Pick your thread title ensuring to check the spelling, create your post and remember to add tags so that your thread can be found easily.
4. Underneath the box where you have typed your post, there are additional options. At the bottom of these options, put a tick next to "Yes, post a poll with this thread" and choose how many options you want your poll to have.
4. Now you have the choice to either "Preview Post" which will allow you to see how your thread will look and make corrections before submitting, or if you're happy, "Submit New Thread"
5. You will be taken to a new page which gives you the option to pick a poll question, and create the responses which will be visible to other users.
You will also be able to specify how many days you want your poll to stay open for, whether you want the users to be able to vote more than once, and whether you want the votes cast to be anonymous or public.
6. Finally, click "Preview Poll" if you want to see how your poll will look, or "Submit poll" to make your poll public.
7. Your poll will now be published in the relevant forum.
