The phone rang.
Me “Hello Chameleon Tattoos.”
Caller “Hi, do you do private tattoos?”
Me “Yes we do, we have a separate room at the back where people can be tattooed should they feel uncomfortable with it being done in public.”
Caller “That's not what I meant. Would you come to my house?”
Me “… No.”
The rest of the conversation is cut but it was me trying to explain in simple terms why tattooing in someone’s house which had not been sterilised would not be a good idea.

this does happen tho!
there are a few guys that do 'tattoo parties' where they basically come to yer house and tattoo you n yer mates.probably a good idea in theory but its not very sterile and also you would just end up getting mangled and asking them to tattoo yer face or something.

ive heard of these parties. though i agree about the hygiene/sterile issues. your house doesnt need to be manky for it not to be hygienic/sterile enough.

Just to explain myself a bit further. it is possible to do tattooing in a house, just not any house and not just popping in. it is possible to create a sterile enviroment in a house and maintain it. what this woman wanted was for some one to go to her house and tattoo her, apart from all the other impelications you could be walking into a complete midden.

I'd feel safer in a proper shop as opposed to at home. Sounds strange but I'd just trust them more to do a better job. Plus, it's not like it's diffucult to get to these places.

thats the train station I got off for college, so if you go there I'll come with you, I said i'd come with you anyway. And there are these things called maps....they have woogley lines all over them and show you where places are and stuff :P
