| Re: jobs for students From what I've been told, Cineworld in town is always looking for staff and if you hand in a CV they'll employ you eventually.
They are meant to be dicks about getting time of for exams and such like though. |

| Re: jobs for students Also, the university and SRC hire students as shelf-stackers in the Library and help desk assistants. There posts are mostly day time, and are all student friendly.
Might be worth checking to see if the Hunterian is hireing guides or anything like that. |

| Re: jobs for students You could try relief social care work? Hours are quite good (you can choose how many shifts you do, you can always say no to a shift), the pay's ok, and the work generally includes watching TV, eating and going to the park. |

Ive just taken a job, but this would be a million times better because I wanna get into social work.

They'll have recruitment details and tend to have rolling recruitment throughout the year. Don't think you need a whole load of qualifications; practical experience is where it's at. |

Laura, dont take anymore than 16 hours a week, or you'll regret it, trust me.

xxx | Nope, a lot of people start looking for tutors around now. I always got jobs by word of mouth but a friend used a reputable website. I'll see if I can get the details for you.

Extreme LOL at "(you can choose how many shifts you do, you can always say no to a shift)" but I'm probably just bitter because my work are shite. (And I've just worked almost an entire weeks hours in three days)
