| Re: Mamba Marketing Hello all I worked for this company, The worst thing about them is they do door 2 door sales with charity's a fraction of the sales actually goes 2 the charity! Both Barry Morgan and his wife Samantha Morgan have their sales representitives prey on people at there own door stop asking for charity donations and people think the person at the door is such a nice person when really they are getting £21 a sale with a £1 actually going 2 charity these people are so money orriantated that they couldnt care what nonsence they fill your head with!
There is no way all the representitives can open there own business it's not possible few will, but they who do will end up just as bad as Barry and Samantha Morgan ! Seriously we dont need people like that they are scum! And so is the full of the Cobra organisation Beaware Mantra Scotia Celeica Modo And Mamba marketing are all part of the Cobra group based in Glasgow alone there are load's more of these scum companies all over the world, but Mamaba Marketing is one of the worst I have ever came accross HOW CAN YOU DECEIVE PEOPLE INTO BELEIVING THAT THERE MONEY IS GOING 2 A CHARITY!!!!!!!! |

| Re: Mamba Marketing I had a 'second interview' for this place yesterday. Thought Id do some research before hand and thank fuck I did. Thought it was really strange that that fuck witt barry didnt tell me anything at the interview apart from how nice the office is, how much money they turn over and how u can get promoted etc. They get by by saying its a first interview which means ur less likely to ask about pay etc. I felt too stupid to ask what the job even was. then before I left he told me to bring a jacket to my next interview because it would b a shame to leave the office after work and get a suit wet... thought that was strange. no way would I work for that twat especially for no money.
So glad I got out before I even started there... knew it was a job too good to be true. what a fucking scam. and barry morgan is an absolute smug wee cock head. If I ever see him again ill trip him up!!! |

| Re: Mamba Marketing I worked for Celica for five hours, which i think is an acheivment. Was informed that it was an events marketing job and my background in events would be perfect. Basically sun, moon and stars shit. The manager was a cocky, coked up wee fuck as well. Was driven out to Coatbridge and told to sell Talk Talk in a shopping centre, and that we'd stay there all night until I got a sale. Gave it a few hours, thought "fuck this" and left. Worst ever.
The guy that runs Scotia, another offshoot, FYI if anyone is as daft as me to go to them for a job, if he tells you that he has a porche, etc, he actually still cleans the Celica Marketing office floors for money. |

| Re: Mamba Marketing haha i wish i saw this earlier!
Yeh heard of them - they are part of mannnnnny marketing companies, i went in for one called Celica (they are situated beside the old job centre in jamaca st)
You stand in a shop from 8-8 getting people to sign up for credit cards and everyone you get is a commission. everyone seems fabby in the job and very friendly and they all make good money but you can tell they did it a long time but its just scary how the boss of these companies are all younger than you
Thats because the positions work on a grading system - you begin as a recruit - then work up to junior, etc etc and after 3-4 years they actually give you management skills to go out and start your own business doing this hiring people to go out and sign up people for creditcards - vicious cycle.
i was interested because it was marketing but its a lot of hard work and you need to get sign ups before you get any money!
not worht the time unless you are desperate for money and a good chatter! and able to take rejection! |

| Re: Mamba Marketing are you guys fucking demented? This is a sales opportunity of a lifetime. We do not prey on customers for a start, if they say no we dont push for the sale at all! as for the hours, well its the same as any other canvassing type of job so get fuckin used to it if u want to stay in that industry. You obviously never listened to Barrys morning interview at all. When u sign someone up for a charity, the charity recieves payment from that customer dumbass, the charity pays us for actually going out and helping. 22 pound goes to us, and a pound goes into research and development. What really gets my goat is how u can slag people off saying hes a smug wee cock head just coz he actually made the effort and put the work in to get where he is today. The only reason you are all so negative about it is because u dont understand and definately have no direction in life.
MAMBA marketing is one of the best companies ive had the privilige to work for in this industry. Everyone starts at the bottom and had the opportunity and support to get themselves higher in the company and making real money. Yeah there is days when its beltin down with rain but in any canvassing job its the same. The reason for having no basic is plainly because in most places there is a basic salary and the guys just abuse it and dont work because they have their basic threshold. When u dont pay a basic, you get results from your guys because they dont make a penny otherwise. This game is all about taking your chances and stepping up to the plate when called upon. If u cant handle that or dont understand, dont slag off great people such as Barry and Sam for making a difference in their own lives and working hard for their living. These guys should be commended for their work and support throughout the company, not slagged by people who really dont understand anything about sales and marketing.
Research that!! |

| Re: Mamba Marketing No, its true. Some people like this fine chap have a very focused direction. And its straight towards a stall in a shopping centre selling credit cards.

And starting at the bottom seems to be the ideal cliché to wheel out here, since most people who start at these jobs seem to get shat on. Quote:

2) Go here. Look at clause 15. Holy illegal wage system, Batman! Quote:
