| Re: Is it worth the risk?? If you're applying for the course it's best to try and stay in the industry (at least til you know you've got a place ), but just start looking at temp agencies who deal with your sector and s1jobs etc, you're bound to find something better!

| Re: Is it worth the risk?? I know but I'm def not staying till September. My boss in Dundee dealt with my application and reference for uni cause he knows me better and its one of his mates that run the course, so hopefully no problems there.
I would stay if I thought it was worth it or would benefit me, it's not. |

| Re: Is it worth the risk?? If you're really miserable there, and there's nothing that can be done to help improve the situation (have you spoken to your manager about the problems? or to the people themselves?) then I'd say that going elsewhere would be a good idea. Earning a bit more money isn't worth making yourself unhappy.
I wouldn't just quit without somewhere to go, though. As Forbes says, it seems easier to get a job when you're already in one. And, even though you don't have rent to pay, it's important to have money to pay for bills/emergencies/shoes.
If you're applying for a course, why not try and approach companies in that sector as well, and see if they have short-term positions. They might even be able to give you a longer-term part-time job, which would help while you're at uni. |

Interview went well and I got offered the job BUT i turned it down, there was loads of weird shit surrounding the salary and iit would just have been too much less than what I'm making just now.
So....the search goes on...... |
