| How long should i wait?
i applied for a job a few weeks ago. last monday i was phoned by the agency dealing with it asking for details of two references. i sent the details off in an email that day and got an email back last thursday confirming they had got the details (they obviously dont check their emails often, despite the fact that the guy asked me to send them by email). i havent heard anything since and im wondering if i should get in touch and see whats happening because on the phone the guy said that once they had checked up on the references, assuming they were fine, i would be offered an interview. i know the references will be fine so im kinda wondering whats going on. i dont know how long it takes to get a reference. do they have to be written or what? i really want an interview for this job, though its down in england so id like to know asap so i can organise travelling down there. ARGH! should i get in touch?
