| Recruitment Firms? Which are the best? Tell me stories or nightmares of recruitment agencies in Glasgow.
I've tried both Rise and Hays and had differing levels of success.

| Re: Recruitment Firms? I think it's less which are the best, and more a case of if they have vacancies, apply! I dont take too kindly to Kelly services, but that's for purely biased, personal reasons.

| Re: Recruitment Firms? Now that i think about it, the best i went through were Hudson, they seemed to be really professional and quick about putting you forward to jobs.
What really irritated me was when you apply for an advertised job via an agency, and they either say 'oh, that position has been filled' or 'we found something more suitable' - meh!
Anyways, good luck Pete!

| Re: Recruitment Firms? Search, Office Angels and Joslin Rowe have got me work in the past.
ASA Recruitment, Adecco, HR Consultancy and Allstaff have all been really keen to sign me up in the past and you walk out the door feeling like you'll have a job from them tomorrow and then never hear from them again. However, they must do something right if they're still going. Tis just a case of applying to most of them and seeing what you get. |

You'd be better off at Mamba marketing than Allstaff.

| Re: Recruitment Firms? Hmm, maybe they got the jobs confused?!?!? The reason being, i worked at Network Rail doing admin - really wasnt the best place to work because it has no space at all, and its just a bunch of porta-cabins that were chucked together hap-hazardly....anyways!
I found them ok. See, i think it really all depends. Best you can do Pete is pimp yourself to the hilt and see what happens.

| Re: Recruitment Firms? I got my job through Hudson, and they were really good. I also used to temp through HR Consultancy and thought they were great, always paid us on time, no hassle at all.
