Gannet is a real word. Apparently my doting father used to refer to me as 'The Gannet' when I was a baby because you could never feed me enough. Apparently I was awfy tiny though, and I was still wearing clothes for one years old when I was two etc. Look what happened there, ho ho.

Had it after chicken burger, bbq sauce AND salad cream (utter idiotic combo but delicious)
OOO OO you HAVE to try the Harvester at Hillington if you can, JUST for the desserts they're bloody huge, the rocky road chocolate dessert is amazingly delcious and uber fattening, you'll LOVE it!!! ( i thought of this as i was typing up my lj entry, how sad!)

Gannet (n.) - Any of several large sea birds of the genus Morus, especially M. bassanus of northern Atlantic coastal regions, having white plumage with black wingtips. Also called solan.
They're known for their ability to eat tonnes of fish, and thus their name is shared by people who like to eat lots of food.
