Right, this is going in Junk Talk since the main points could be split between a number of threads.
First off, Sunday night there at the Catty was one of thee best nights I've ever had in there. Awesome music, banter, company... and for the first time EVER in my 6+ years of going, I heard some Mr Big!
Secondly, the John Mayer gig in London last night was flawless.
Newton Faulker opened, which was an excellent bonus. His upcoming Glasgow gig is now most definitely a 100% priority gig.
John Mayer is just the man though, stunnin' soulful blues guitar playing, with a couple of old school acoustic tracks thrown in at the end for the diehards!
Finally, after the gig, I spotted Alter Bridge leaving the venue. Got a great wee banter with them, which was awesome, they were all more than happy to hang out, talk with us, then pose for a photo. They mentioned they'd be back in Glasgow in January, so that's also getting attended!
So aye, awesome few days. Job interview the morra, hopefully it continues the recent trend of sheer excellence!
