| I Am... What?! My uncle gave this DVD to my mother the other day to see if I wanted to watch it, thus proving once more that he is an absolute dunce.
What the fuck?
Any similarity to other, more successful films is purely coincid-- oh. Hold on a minute.
However did they manage to get such a high profile name as martial arts master Mark Dacascos on board? I hear he's quite the thespian.
Oh yeah! "Brotherhood of the Wolf"! "Kickboxer 5"! "American Samurai"! (Who the fuck did he play in "The Island of Dr Moreau"? Some kind of iguana man?) I remember those films, and their vast success at the box office. Oh, Mr Dacascos, your talents have been overlooked for far too long.

| Re: I Am... What?! Nope, I misled you there. The Omega Man was the title of the seventies movie adaptation of I Am Legend. The Will Smith pants-fest was faithfully titled.

"What did I expect?" indeed. Excellent point you have there, I did in fact post this as a serious, detailed, in-depth critique of the lack of finesse and quality casting in what I otherwise would have thought to be a magical, earth-shattering cinematic event-- rather than say, posting it for my own amusement at the fact that anyone would actually buy it. I'd definitely never do that.
