it was the QM and no not a member. I wasn't signed in or anything cause we went in at like 5 so didn't need to. It's not like I go there on nights out or anything anyway though but sometimes go in during the day kinda annoyed about it cause I never behave like that
Ah, the QM. Well, that one I do know about. If it was last night, you're very likely to have come across a regular steward who will probably remember you so you're probably going to have trouble getting back in for club nights, should you ever want to.

What should have happened is the duty board member should have been called to the door to take your details for the ban list and inform you of the details of your ban. It is very rare for the stewards to take it upon themselves to permanently ban a non-member, unless they are being extremely violent, which I can't imagine you were.

I wouldn't imagine you'll have any problems going in during the day, since no one (other than the steward) was involved and you weren't added to the ban list properly.

It really bugs me that the stewards sometimes ban folk without doing it properly (involving duty board and logging it on the ban list).

If you are concerned about going in during the day, might be worth having a chat with the president (ally.h on here)

Im sure they'll be alright about it, QM bouncers are pretty nice in general.
This too, but definitely worth chatting to Ally first.

thanks very much! do you work for the union? just cause you seem to know a lot about it. As I said I don't remember the actual event itself and my friend seemed to think I was kinda shouting stuff as I walked away as opposed to standing having a big confrontation with him. Thanks for your help though
