See, I wasn't too sure about the direct biscuit to cookie correlation, as a kitkat and it's ilk would be considered a chocolate/candy bar, not a cookie. Helen's definition, however:
makes a bit more sense, as far as distinguishing a cookie from a biscuit, UK-style.
See, going to savoury just opens a whole other US-UK conversion kafuffle for me.
