I'm in the "open to all" group.

Being able to check the rep, I've seen that in general people are incredibly vicious to one another when there's a shield about 'em.

But if you removed the comments ability from rep, I doub't rep would really be used at all. Its no fun telling someone you think they're great or pish without being able to tell 'em why.

Might I further suggest, as a lot of people have written some fairly heinous things, that you consider editing any past rep to blank comments.
The lashback might see some interesting squabbles here n there...

keep the comments, admin only viewing of who left the comments.

seriously, if anyone gets absurdly upset about a comment someones left them, they could ask about it to an admin, otherwise, build a fucking bridge. i quite like the anonimity of the comments i get, though a lot of peole do sign them. if it was always viewable who left comments, it would lose the point it originally had, ie - tit for tat repping a go-go. and i certainly wouldnt want the ones i have wiped because someone might have said something theyd rather not have me knowing was them said.

l would go for being able to see who giving you rep

as it would cut the amount of shit that been happing

alot of peopel have got pissed off cuase they thought soem one givin them rep when they havent

or other have been leaving nasty comment and l think a good amount of that if not all of that would stop if we could see who givin us rep

me persontlyl would liek ot know who everoyne who givin me rep is

l aint gonan go out and start giving them neg rep cuase they gave me neg rep

jsut would like to know who it was especialy the oens that left comments some of which l found exmeanly nasty but wouldnt seam so to others.

and l am sure there others that would like to know for simler reasons
But l do understand that might be a bad thing to do as some peopel will end up having fights on here about it as that jsut they way things seam to go

leave it open to all but only the admin can see who sent them cos if normal users are able to see hwo sends them, it will be WW3

Some of the comments I have seen left on rep have been nothing short of immature, so I'm not really bothered either way, since it's easy to deduce who left it by their antics on the forum.

I know that all neg rep pointed my way is from Crunchy Frog or her sockpuppets (ie - McLeary the Gullible) so I can usually guess who.

if its grey - its nearly always from one of crunchy's sockpuppets that can't give rep yet.
