I think FBR is just alluding to the fact she is already paying (and has little say in the matter) for healthcare on the NHS, who seem to be doing very little to help her. The NHS set a target waiting time (from GP to further treatment) of 18 weeks, which became the operational standard for the NHS from January 1 2009. FBR's been waiting at least 32 weeks, and as such I can understand her frustration.

Fair enough paying extra to go private if you're looking for faster and/or better healthcare, but people shouldn't be having to go private because the NHS is neglecting them.

I just... wow. Has Aneurin Bevan come back from the grave to post on Alt Nation as a disgruntled bi-curious female from Coatbridge? And why would it only be acceptable for someone to slag the NHS if theyd been born on the carpet in their living room?
