The letting agent know that I've never been so much as late with my rent, but he gibbered some pish about being really sorry but technically they should be charging me for all of the rent and I'm lucky their giving me a month to find a new home. |

I fully admit that I'm a sucker for someone having a nervous breakdown. I've been there myself. |

I'd also kill the fricking flatmate, but £650 is a ridiculous amount of money to lose |

I fully admit that I'm a sucker for someone having a nervous breakdown. I've been there myself. | He's been trying to play that game with me, but forgets that I actually know he's fucking lying and he hasn't gone mental, or tried to do himself in or anything. He's just a lazy cunt that couldn't be arsed getting another job after he got fired and now he's ran back to his minted mummy and daddy and told them a pack of lies about me so he doesn't have to deal with me. And this guy was my best friend for nearlyu 8 years and we've lived together for 6 years.
Fucking wanker. |

I feel sickened when I lose a tenner so 70k would probably be enough to kill me. |

I think giving away that amount of cash for someone who has no dependants or is wealthy anyway could be quite empowering though.
Sadly I need money to clothe feed and house my children.
Regarding the no dependants bit which I missed when posting there, I still couldn't give away £70K as we basically don't have that kind of money but if I didn't have the boys i'd be working fulltime and would certainly find things like giving to charity a lot easier.

Vive la difference and all that. | I'm not sure. I think it would depend on my own circumstances at the time, what the money was going to be used for and a lot of other factors like whether I had debts, whether I'd have a little bit of money for my own purposes. For me that 70k represents the security bond to move to Canada, but if I didn't have the kids I wouldn't need that amount.
I genuinely don't know. Also when I said I didn't disagree with you I meant I didn't disagree that it would/could be empowering and that money isn't the be all and end all. |

One reason why I wouldn't raise children in this country, I like my ethical freedom too much. |
