i agree. i havent heard tony royster jr play other than that video, unless that guy playing the paint buckets is in fact him, but i'm sure the music would be dull as hell. steve gadd is the man. have you seen the steve gadd american drummer achievement awards dvd?

There's some braw fusion kicking about though, Mahavishnu, Return To Forever (one of our Kev's favourites), Bully Cobham's 'spectrum' album. All boss.

of course, all that stuff is fantastic. not forgetting weather report, lee ritenour, herbie hancock's early 70s albums, greg howe, yellowjackets (although some is a bit too cheesy) and a lot of the great miles stuff, but that track in particular is a stinker. it would be completely ignorant of me to say "fusion is all shit", i'm sure one day i'll be into a lot more of it.

I think the Jaco Pastorious Weather Report stuff i have heard is bad sucky, but i heard some samples from the first Weather Report album and it sounded great. Similar to RTF or Mahivisnu. Need to check that shit out.

I think lazy eye qualify as one of the shittest rock bands i've heard.
