I only sleep as few hours as I can, as crime, poverty, poor health services and poor education do not take a break: Working to build a better Scotland should not either.

Why shouldn't we? Doesn't do any harm and helps promote a group of people who are still chastised by certain members of society.

Not that suddenly finding out Isaac Newton liked a bit of cock fun will actually change many attitudes but you never know...

Well the place hasn't fallen apart since he became first minister and the fishing and farming lobbys are more interested in their Euro MP's then Westminster. Assuming theirs not a foot and mouth crisis I don't think theres much for him to actually do.

The Christians are firmly parked in December with potentical Jewish double bookings and Islam has dibs on most of the autumn months...

But if people want to celebrate their faith, sexuality or whatever why not let them? Makes a hell of a lot more sense to let folks do so rather then stopping them. Its not as if its compulsory for eevery citizen during LGBT month to march up and down Buchannan Street waving a rainbow flag is it?
