| Re: Ugly stuff I totally disagree.
In saying that, generally if I'm wearing something loose on my top half I wear a waisted belt with it.

I quite like smock top things..although I don't get the whole 'I look pregnant' thing cos I tend to wear a belt or something with them.

| Re: Ugly stuff Smock tops worn loose (i.e. without a belt) only really work if you have super-thin arms and neck. Otherwise they give the look of being huge under there. I definately don't have a flat tummy but I look utterly ridiculous in smocks because they tend to sit out at the level of my boobs and I look like I'm wearing a tent. Something more fitted round my chest and loose below works better |

| Re: Ugly stuff I have to agree that smock tops aren't half as flattering as people think, unless you're preggers or belly-blessed.
Especially if your boobonza's make them stick out and float a clear six inches from your body, giving the illusion of a stomach that isn't really there.

| Re: Ugly stuff I think smock tops are fairly flattering regardless of your shape.
If you wear them amoungst adults they will no doubt appreciate your gesture towards fashion, however kids just assume if you wear something baggy, your up the duff.
I like smock tops and I wear them at the weekend Quote:

| Re: Ugly stuff Anyone else fucking tired of the legions of girls wearing a long t-shirt, belt over the t-shirt(Yeah, fun fact for you; it's not going to work properly if it isn't through belt loops) and leggings?
They look terrible. Only it's fashionable so they're all wearing it. Dreadful people, every last one of them. |

It was in Sex and the City, and has been in every fashion magazine ever for about 3 years, that a man's white shirt should be in every woman's wardrobe. I still think it's rubbish.
