I'm looking for advice on window boxes. I've wanted to have them for a while now but I've been coming up against the same problem over and over. I can't drill holes into the masonary due to the flat being rented so attaching brackets or rails is looking like a definate no can do.
Does anyone know of a way to have window boxes secured on a sloped ledge without the requirement for drilling anything? Due to the weather finally turning I want to get my roses off the inner ledge and have them outside. I'd also like to be able to extend my mini potted herb garden as with having the roses and herbs in the kitchen they're all competing for space.

I'd advise trying out such a substance on an empty window box to make sure it will keep it still first.

I'm not sure adhesive would be that much of an option either, what with it still altering the masonary to a degree. I'm asking on another forum just now, hopefully they'll have loads of ideas what with being all green fingered types.
