I had a minor failure. There wasn't any fruit or veg left in the house and I was so hungry I was seeing stars, so I succumbed to a chunk of Jamaica Ginger cake. I intend on burning the calories off by doing some exercise tonight.

I would have thought the amount of fibre you're eating would have sorted *ahem* that out...hmm
I just want to feel less bloated - I have no idea how I'll actually drop the amount of weight I want over the next two weeks. Japanese clothes are a bitch to fit if you're not TEENY, and I'm getting more and more tempted to do something really stupid
I won't though, cos I'm not daft. |

Honestly Vicki, there's nothing you can do to lose a huge amount in two weeks. Just be sensible, there's plenty of other dresses out there but no other Vicki's. Quote:

Best tip I have so far is drink a big glass of water when you feel peckish - a lot of the time you're actually thirsty, not hungry

I always have a big bottle of sugar free juice (Strawberry and Kiwi barley stuff at the moment) nearby. My other big thing is chewing gum. A lot of folk don't like it because it can give you wind but I find that I need to keep my mouth busy, so to speak.

| Re: The all-new, all-singing, all-dancing two stone for whenever thread. I got addicted to chewing gum when I lost weight before - it can act as a laxative though, which is a bit gross. I'll third the 'big glass of juice/water', too. |

Was just wondering if there was any reason this should be the case? I'm not hoping it's my body's way of telling me it prefers junk food, honest. | I think it might have something to do with the times that you are eating now. Like if your just getting back into eating breakfast again it will take a week maybe for your metabolism to adjust to digesting things faster.

I was sore all over yesterday from Monday's exercise... just goes to show how unfit I am since I used to do that DVD 3-4 times a week no problem. My healthy eating thing's going awright-ish... but I fluctuate loads. It's weird how you can get really obsessive about it one minute then realise it's not *that* important the next. But after you've scoffed some junk, it suddenly becomes really important again and you end up kicking yourself. This looks like the lamest thing ever, but it is under £2... |

Edit: wrong thread.
