| Re: The all-new, all-singing, all-dancing two stone for whenever thread. I genuinely have no idea - I've never gotten rid of it ever. It is the bane of my existence, seriously. I've been trying to tone my general upper body with push-ups, tricep dips and (in the past) rowing but nothing seems to help. I figure the only way to do it is just to lose the fat, as there's not much to 'tone' there. I'm rather top heavy and I tend to put weight on on my arms, chest and tummy before my bum, hips or legs - it really sucks |

Honestly Vicki, there's nothing you can do to lose a huge amount in two weeks. Just be sensible, there's plenty of other dresses out there but no other Vicki's.
Listen, you're among friends here so don't feel shy - we'll support you!
Best tip I have so far is drink a big glass of water when you feel peckish - a lot of the time you're actually thirsty, not hungry | I totally did today.Had to pee all day but,did fill me up for a bit.Discovered rice cakes and miso soup!!Great for breakkie.THANX so much for being so nice.Still bit to shy but i seem to be on here more now so I will try post more instead of skulking! |

| Re: The all-new, all-singing, all-dancing two stone for whenever thread. Ach that's a shame... although I'm sure many ladies would feel lucky to have weight go on their hips and legs last.
It was when I was lighter (but not necessarily more toned) that mine went away so I reckon you're right about it being unrelated to exercise. I fucking hate those stubborn bits that nothing seems to work for... the underside of arms is another one that just doesn't ever seem to get toned, ditto with the very top of the inner thighs. I suppose I'll just need to stick with squashing my tits closer together so it's not as noticable. |

| Re: The all-new, all-singing, all-dancing two stone for whenever thread. It annoys me when folk complain about their bums - even though I have really toned legs and narrow hips I look HUGE in photos of my head and shoulders cos I have really pudgy arms and chest (I mean the wee pockets of flab between arms and chebs, not actual boobage ). At least if you're bottom heavy you can look nice from the waist up. Plus almost all clothes are designed for bottom heavy women in mind - see trying to find jeans that have a wide enough waist and narrow enough hips! It's a total pain in the arse (pun intended). |

| Re: The all-new, all-singing, all-dancing two stone for whenever thread. The amount of girls you see that go to great lengths to cover up their "unsightly" arses and whatever, it's a joke.
Wear a mask, then worry about your arse.

| Re: The all-new, all-singing, all-dancing two stone for whenever thread. I'm hoping the swimming will be toning my arms, especially the buffalo wings. Ill probably end up with big bulging shoulder muscle though.
I have always wanted to be more bottom heavy, i think bigger hips do wonders for ones waist

I am entirely out of proportion I'm not even convinced that losing weight will help, because it won't disappear from JUST my legs. |

| Re: The all-new, all-singing, all-dancing two stone for whenever thread. Might be an obvious question but have you tried Next? Every single pair of trousers I've tried on from there have been HUGE on my hips and legs, and tight on my waist. |

| Re: The all-new, all-singing, all-dancing two stone for whenever thread. I haven't tried next before because I heard their jeans start in a size 8, and ideally, I'd need a 6 to fit my hips/waist/ I might go try on some 8's though, if they're funny-sized in the waist, cheers |
