Some people stop eating through stress, some people eat more. Also, studying means I don't have time/motivation to go to the gym or go to the shops for healthy food every day.

I find different types of stress affect you differently as well... if it's boy-related problems I go right off food but with uni-related stress I eat everything in the world.

YES! Work and boy stress turn me right off food, family and money make me eat chocolate until I feel sick. It sounds terrible but I've never looked better than I did the month after I split up with Alan, I couldn't eat and kept throwing up. It's a terrible thing to admit though.

That'd be a good thread.
I already did that thread when I lost a whack of weight...

Reverse that and you get what my goal once was (I still hope to gain a little more muscle). And how tall are you? 7 stone is bitsy and a terrifying goal for a 17 year old unless you're quite wee. Last time I weighted 7 stone, I was 12. I'd probably have to lose muscle along with body fat to get back down to that again.

Les created a weight gain thread and someone commented his series of pictures was like watching a sausage being made. Still amuses me.

i've been saying for ages i want to put on weight and hit about 12st.

not being able to partake in sports and eating fuckloads of food is pushing me towards it nicely.

C'mon, you've seen me irl plenty of times! plus crystal weighs like just under 7 stone at the very most and she suits it fine and there's not that much difference in heights between us.

Re: The all-new, all-singing, all-dancing two stone for whenever thread.

7st on someone 5'6 is a BMI of 15.8 (8st is 18.1) To be diagnosed as anorexic you'd have to have a BMI of under 18, and it's perfectly possible to die of malnutrition or electrolyte abnormalities with a BMI of 16 or more. I can't possibly describe how fucking idiotic this is. Crystal is different - she doesn't have to diet to we the weight she is. If you do, then I really think there's something wrong. From what I've seen of you you look pretty skinny at your current weight - if you lost another 3 stone you would be ill.

BMI isn't exactly the most accurate or reliable weight measurement tho, is it?

I don't mind not reaching my target weight as long as I can be at least a size 8 in all shops.
