Fair enough you don't want kids, but saying you can't understand why other people do is ludicrous. |

See I don't really understand this. I can't band all kids together, same as I couldn't band all adults together. There are plenty of adults who I can't stand but I don't write the whole generation off, in the same vein that there are plenty of children that I don't like. Sometimes that includes my own kids I have to admit, but I do find it strange when I see people say, "I don't like kids". Seems like a huge generalisation to me. | |

I had dinner and drinks with loads of my friends who I don't get to see very often then went to the dancing. I think it really depends on your line of thought whether it's disrespectful to your partner or not. | See..that's not really a 'hen' night then. It's simply a party-type-thing to celebrate what's happening the next day. Kinda like Xmas eve, only with a party and the likes.

I would need to meet someone that had the same opinion about what marriage IS before I even considered it. Never ever met anyone who agrees with me. I don't see it as a bit of paper. I see it as a bond, as you showing that person that you really DO want to spend the rest of your life with them, have kids, kittens and be BFF. Just exchanging lovely rings with no vows or legality is not marriage to me. Sure, it's showing slight commitment. Whoever I marry..it'll be the only marriage I have. | See, I think this meeting someone and thinking that you'll spend the rest of your life with them stuff is pure fairytale.
I'd like to believe that you could be with someone for that period of time and be happy, but I just don't think you can. I think eventually people settle, and get bored of playing the field, and that's why they get married. Marriage essentially is a long friendship, because the passion will go eventually, but by the time it does, you're already into too much of a routine and you've got commitments that you can't really back out of, i.e. children, financial, home.
I just don't think i'll ever not get bored of someone enough to commit to a lifetime. Even the thought makes me feel trapped.

It's hard to find someone you don't get sick of sometimes. I don't want to feel 'stuck' or 'trapped'..which is why I'd need to be a million percent sure. I really don't see myself getting married for a very long time.
It'd be nice to find the perfect guy though, wouldn't it?
