Re: Marriage

I'm one of those kinda folks who would only consider it if it felt right.

Suppose it entirely depends on the kinda relationship you're in.

I think to a certain extent though the whole marriage thing seems kinda out-dated at times, to me anyway. Like I says though, if it felt right for the situation, I would be for it.

Re: Marriage

To be honest, I don't think I'd stay in a relationship my whole life with one person if I didn't see myself marrying them.

That's the appeal surely? I mean, if you picked a dozen random people off the street there'd be more common sense and aptitude among 'em; they hide it better on this show but this is no different to the fact that on The X Factor etc it's the people who shouldn't be there at all that are the ones worth watching.

Re: Marriage

I didn’t mean the contestants necessarily, I meant the programme itself. It just ain’t for me.

The rest are all such self-loving reptiles though.

I can tolerate anything from Big Brother to Desperate Housewives, but shows like Dragons Den and The apprentice are literally unwatchable to the point where I feel repulsed by the concept of living in a society that would elevate this as entertainment.

No I mean I could quite happily have a long term partner who wasn't into getting married but if it meant something to the other person then I'd do it for them. I'm just not fussed either way.

Re: Marriage

I too would like a £2000 dress. If I need to get married to justify this, then so be it.

Seriously though, I think me getting married will probably depend on the guy I end up being with at that point, personally I'm not too fussed about it either way, so it would probably end up being dependent on whether he felt stongly about getting hitched.

Re: Marriage

I got married three years ago and we split up last year. I'd quite like to do it all over again but I'd make sure I was 100% certain that I was happy instead of being 75% happy and thinking that the other person will change. As it is, I'd give anything just to have my boyfriend live closer to me rather than 400 miles away

Dependent on meeting the right person, of course.
