| Re: Marriage I'd love to get married, though of course it depends on finding the right person. Timescale doesn't bother me, as soon as I've found the right person, am certain enough about that, and it becomes practical then I'll go for it.

| Re: Marriage I'll show my age by saying this but I met my wife at a rave 17 years ago, we lived together for 5 of them and have been married for 11 years. don't know what the formula for a happy marriage is though, our relationship is quite passionate, I've learned to duck a lot of flying crockery and glassware. |

| Re: Marriage I never want to get married. What's the point in spending ten grand on what is essentially the world's most boring party/excuse for your family to fight with one another, and theres a 50% chance its going to end in divorce? Besides, co-habitants have almost all the same legal benefits and securities as married couples now, so there really is no need, IMO.
Having babies can get to fuck as well. I'm not spending an extra god knows how long in education to have a kick ass career to ruin it all with what would probably be an accident from a shitty sympathy fuck. And I like being slim and having furniture with sharp edges. Kids make me sick and pregnant women (no offence) are fucking hideous to look at (and make me physically sick).
I'm happy having a "seriously casual" (or should that be casually serious?) relationship with someone who feels exactly the same way as me. I doubt I'll ever be mature or unselfish enough to change my mind. |

And every wedding i've been to has been boring, possibly due to my extraordinarily boring step family or maybe down to my complete lack of interest. |

Read my post, I note that both marriage and weddings are pointless, from an entertainment perspective, practical perspecitve and legal perspective. |
