Household Electrics & Overload
The G/f just saw a blue flash come from one of the sockets in flat when she was plugging something in.

Anyone know if they is a major cause for concern, or just a result of plugging something in when the plug is still on?

Wee bit worried we might be overloading the flat's electrics, but then I'm always a bit paranoid when it comes to the 'leccy.

Its cause she plugged something in whilst it was all turned on.

If it was overloaded the circuit breaker or a fuse would hopefully blow and that circuit would stop

It was the tiny little police car that lives in the socket warning you to TURN OFF THE POWER before plugging in your electrics.
