tattoo camouflage make up

Adam has a pretty important set of interviews coming up and wants to disguise the tats on the backs of his hands. They're pretty faint cos it's just UV ink but they're still fairly visible and obviously not just scars. Ages ago i was at one of Club Noir's burlesque workshops and Faye (Vanity Kills) had some tattoo concealing make up but i can't for the life of me remember who makes it and Google throws up loads of stuff which doesn't look like the stuff i'm after. Anyone got any ideas or experience with this stuff?

Rio skin camouflage makeup is pretty good. Plus you can get it from Argos. Fragrance-free, if I remember correctly.

It's a huge bottle of stuff by MAC that they had, i think Faye (I thought her name was Yvonne!) uses it to cover up her tattoos or any suppliers of theatre make up.

Jilly, you could email Faye and ask, Vanity Kills has a strong online presence, but I'm not sure how often she would check it. Or email Tina through the Club Noir site and ask for recommendations?

I emailed Faye through myspace but she's not got back to me yet, will try Tina too, Adam's interviews are next week and we'll need a bit of time to play around with the stuff!

Surely if they have a policy that dictates no tattoos they'll find out eventually? And if they don't then it would be discrimination to let the tattoos affect job prospects?

I saw a video of a girl using dermablend last week. It looks a bit odd at first, but in the end, it looks not too bad.

Surely if they have a policy that dictates no tattoos they'll find out eventually? And if they don't then it would be discrimination to let the tattoos affect job prospects?

It's more along the lines of "good first impressions", they've already given him the interviews knowing full well that he's a long-haired, forked tongued, tattooed fop!
