The whole 60 style dresses has been popular for a while it seems. Makes me wonder, do they make decent modern style dresses or are designers shite these days.
I'm no gay but.
New Look had loads in that style last autumn, I got a similar one for £15 (that was full price). Their sale is pretty good and I've spotted a few similar ones to that style on the rails, it's definitely worth a look!

I think its more to do with styles go in circles, everything modern has taken influence from something from the past whether its decades or even centuries ago. Its a bit like stories and songs, theres only a set number of componants that can be combined before things start repeating themselves.
sorry what did she say? she's on my ignore list.![]()
Shite quality picture, but here's my tacky as fuck zebra print dress.

Decent pic of it from ebay; the manky belt isn't mine.

See the prom style dress of that one on the right, it's in the Jane Norman sale right now and I'm in love, actually in love. I can't justify it though... can I?![]()

I think I need more sexy, dressy-but-not-too-dressy dresses.
Since last posting pics in here I've bought:
- "the famous Primark gold sequin dress" in both styles
- "the famous Topshop shift dress" in two different colours
- a shit Primark copy of said shift dress
- a purple Lipsy party number, and
- a tartan one from River Island... which later appeared in the Guardian mag fashion pages.
I'm currently eyeing up that leopardprint Warehouse number and the red Abigail Clancy one on ebay, too.
Clearly I've got no originality whatsoever.![]()
