    Re: Dresses!

I guess I dont like them because they make me look and feel wel frumpy. Anyway I bought this bad boy today for my Grad Ball. Ive had my eye on it for ages!

Also, I was in All Saints today - they have some OUTSTANDING dresses. Ive never considered myself an All Saints fan but i was very impressed today.

I am podgier than you, and I wear loads of different styles! But then, I am prone to wandering around shops for 5 hours trying on pretty much anything that I want to see what it looks like these days.

New Look have some decent mid length summery dresses btw, Dunnes too.

Speaking of, tried on this AMAZING red dress in Dunnes, it was like a sailor dress, kinda red and fishtailed with gold buttons. 14 was just a bit too wee and nae 16s. I'm so, so tempted to go back and buy one to slim into, but that's dangerous.

    ditto

or if you have a larger than average bust its really hard to find the wee floaty dresses etc that most girls wear without having to buy several sizes above your actual dress size just to accomodate the chebs or they quite simply are cut for c cup and under or you buy one to accomodate your chest and itll make you look heavily heavily pregnant, whereas the 50s dresses at least show that you have a waist too and arent gestating an elephant.

I like them - i really love many of the other styles around just now too - just cant get away with wearing them cos i cant pull them off with my figure

you're so not. you have the legs to carry off shorter dresses too. there's just a lot of styles of dresses that would be so unflattering on me.
If it don't end in bloodshed dear, it's probably not love.

You're not wrong! I'd never even really noticed it till about a month ago and now I love it, not just the clothes though - I really like the way the stores are dressed and the lighting and the window displays are the least tackiest I've seen in ages....still can't afford anything mind. Stupidly looked at the website and there are like 15 pages of amazing dresses I will never be able to afford either

Boyfriend looks like Matt from Busted. That's a good thing.
