Also, I was in All Saints today - they have some OUTSTANDING dresses. Ive never considered myself an All Saints fan but i was very impressed today.

New Look have some decent mid length summery dresses btw, Dunnes too.
Speaking of, tried on this AMAZING red dress in Dunnes, it was like a sailor dress, kinda red and fishtailed with gold buttons. 14 was just a bit too wee and nae 16s. I'm so, so tempted to go back and buy one to slim into, but that's dangerous.

or if you have a larger than average bust its really hard to find the wee floaty dresses etc that most girls wear without having to buy several sizes above your actual dress size just to accomodate the chebs or they quite simply are cut for c cup and under or you buy one to accomodate your chest and itll make you look heavily heavily pregnant, whereas the 50s dresses at least show that you have a waist too and arent gestating an elephant.
I like them - i really love many of the other styles around just now too - just cant get away with wearing them cos i cant pull them off with my figure

I'd never even really noticed it till about a month ago and now I love it, not just the clothes though - I really like the way the stores are dressed and the lighting and the window displays are the least tackiest I've seen in ages....still can't afford anything mind. Stupidly looked at the website and there are like 15 pages of amazing dresses I will never be able to afford either
