/x | Haha! you know, I'm one of those people that get so easily inspired to do things or become something (especially after reading a book) but I guess my natural state must just be inertia, because that europhic feeling of 'that's it, i'm actually going to change my life, and I know how to do it' only ever lasts about 4 hours, max and even then thats with chemical stimulation I reckon thats why i've never read a self help book that worked. I get more of a sense of what i want my life to be about after reading a fairy tale, or a book set in a country i want to visit or something like that. for 10 minutes. |

| Re: favourite books? I think Stephen King's "Dark Tower" series is totally underrated, only books that have bouught me totally into their world, so to speak.
I really like SHakepseare, but I don't know if that counts since they are plays, but read them at school.
Harry Potter of course

he hasn't done it yet. | I'd agree that audiobooks seem like a bit of a cop-out... but I'm making an exception for Ulysses. 40 minute round walk to and from uni + mp3 player + Soulseek = minimal reading of what everyone considers an unreadable book.
Bet this idea seems less appealing when I actually make a start on it, but. |
