All excellent
Also:
The Woman in Black by Susan Hill - By far the scariest and most gripping book I've ever read, I'd totally reccomend it but not at night!
The Beach by Alex Garland - If you've seen the film, read the book. If you've done neither, do both.
The History of Lucy's Love Life in 10 and a Half Chapters by Deborah Wright - This is such a girly book but it's absolutely mental and so uplifting.
Anything by Louise Rennison because I'm a teenage girl.
Dead Famous by Ben Elton - A modern twist on the classic "whodunnit" plot, had me guessing to the very end. I'm going to start reading this again tonight in fact!
There's so many more but my mind's gone blank.
