I'd love to read Hogwarts: A History, or The History of Magic. Proper versions though, not Comic Relief style kids books.

Should we start a new thread for those who have read the books and know what happens? That way this one can be left for comjecture from those who've not finished. Or is that pointless?

To be fair It's not like they were major characters or anything. They could have been, but Rowling never bothered to expand on their characters in the previous books.

I was quite glad of that. That character always seemed to be an addon. He was also way to annoying.

Wouldn't be pointless, but we might as well leave it now that folks have been discussing it. There has to be a cut off point for when things are considered spoliers.

I'm glad there won't be any more. There are far too many stories that are streched too far. Harry Potter should end now. it is the right place for the saga to end.

I loved the book.

I thought Hagrid was a goner when he was dragged into the forest

The film was really good actually. Not as good as hairspray though
