    Donating Books

Does anyone know where I can? I've got tons of books I'm looking to give away (mass clear-out - the amount I have is just getting stupid). Google is being extremely unhelpful. I'm particularly interested in organisations who will make pick-up's because there are a good three big boxes to go.

Do you have any charity shops near you? I used to take a rucksake full everytime I went in to town. No idea about pick-ups or anything though.

The charity shops nearby are really funny about donations. You have to go to a donation bank and there aren't any close to where I am. Pain in the arse.

There's an Oxfam bookshop on Byres Road and some Shelters will take books as well. I don't know where you live though so I'm not sure how helpful that is for you.

Are you still in London? If so, I would call around to local charity shops such as Oxfam and MIND as a few of the bigger ones have volunteers who drive around picking up the plastic bags they pop through your door for stuff. I am sure you will find one who will come and collect.
