| Re: Christopher Brookmyre - an Alternative Nation interview Something to do with what made him write down all his plans for breaking into banks etc rather than using them to make lots of money? I can't quite make a sensible question out of that (revision is addling my brain) but i'm sure you get the gist of it.

| Re: Christopher Brookmyre - an Alternative Nation interview Ask him which of his books he thinks would most suit being converted to an FPS and if he has ever considered (or been approached to) collaborating with a games company (perhaps our own rockstar north) to write the plot/dialouge for one?

| Re: Christopher Brookmyre - an Alternative Nation interview I know, but I spent ages trying to think of another question. And that was it...
Ignore my last question then Laura. Just ask the swear word one (Y)

| Re: Christopher Brookmyre - an Alternative Nation interview The "establishment" is often the source of Brookmyre's bad guys - generally within Scottish politics and the Catholic Church. Does he see his books as a way to deal with his seemingly increasing frustrations on both politics and religion?
Art Alexakis of Everclear has been thanked by Brookmyre in both Enemy Of Mine and Sacred Art of Stealing. How important is music in Brookmyre's life and do any (other) bands or songs influence his writing?
Are there any plans for any other novels (apart from the tv dramatisation of Quite Ugly One Morning starring James Nesbit) to be dramatised for television or film and, if so, how much will Brookmyre be involved in the dramatisation of his work and the actors/director to be involved?
How does writing fictional work compare with writing for The Scotsman, Edinburgh Evening News and the film magazine, Screen International?
What does Brookmyre do to research his novels and are any of the characters based on friends/family or even himself?
Brookmyre has been criticised for having created a fictional work that is too black and white. Was this intentional and does he have a response to such criticism?
Scotland is clearly important to him. Does he have any plans or dreams to move away or is St Mirren too much of an anchor for him to leave his homeland?
I may come up with some more later

and
Did he have much say over what changes were made to the characters and plot? Quote:

Not according to IMDb. | IMDB doesn't know everything. It is woefully out of date for some stuff. If anything is being discussed AN may get a little exclusive
