Anyway. I just finished All Families are Psychotic by Douglas Coupland. Load of shit. Dunno what I was expecting, something a bit more rooted in reality, with less wackiness but I didn't enjoy this (partly my fault of course). A fairly terrible wacky races type 'find the golden' ticket plot with shreds of maternity, mortality and identity themes through-out (though without going into any of the themes with any real sense or purpose or insight). I really disliked this book, though it was only 300 pages and very easy to read (plot heavy). 0/5.

Quite good this. Really what Chuck should be if he wasn't so obsessed with nihilism and Easton-Ellis-esque understated gross-out. Fun, quirky, disturbing read this. Quick too. 5 out of 6.

I think that was it's title. Nice graphic novel I guess. Didn't really care about anything in it. Meh. 2.5/5.

I just finished "The Time Traverler's Wife", by Audrey Niffeneger. I get the impression it's one of those books EVERYONE has read, I loved it though. Very convincing for a love story about time travel.
I also just read "The Memory Keeper's Daughter" by Kim Edwards. It was great if slightly unrealistic/ overcooked at the end, but I found it really interesting as my Gran gave birth to a Down's child in the 60's and can vouch for a lot of the attitudes at the time.
