Question Womens Monologues

Any actresses out there got a favorite monologue?
I currently have a piece from an old show called Designing Women and when presenting it to the mock Lamda exam despite it being praised, i was told that the piece was "too real" and they went onto follow that It was as if i experienced it and they wanted to see the "colours in my piece" despite it being a rather depressing piece so after that I have somewhat drifted from that piece.

Im rattling my brains trying to think of pieces i could try again - im not doing the Lamda this year because i want more experience but the only other pieces i have ever done is from Doubt, Closer and Road however trying to get hold of Valeries part in Road has been quite a task since a lot of the shops in Glasgow do not have the scripbook of Road by Jim Cartwright.

Can anyone suggest any good pieces or places to find pieces that i can peruse and hopefully find a "more colourful" piece.
