| Ben Goldacre lecture - Mitchell Library, Glasgow, 7th March Ehhh, don't know if this should go in this forum but it's not really a "gig" and it's part of the "Aye Write" book festival, so here seemed appropriate.
Anyway, for anyone who cares, Ben Goldacre of Bad Science blog/columns/book fame is giving a talk about something or other in the Mitchell Library in Glasgow a week tomorrow at 3pm.
Tickets here.

| Re: Ben Goldacre lecture - Mitchell Library, Glasgow, 7th March This was pretty good, pretty much just "highlights of the book", though. And he was a bit pushed for time so there was no Q+A and he had to cut a section on 'superfoods'.

| Re: Ben Goldacre lecture - Mitchell Library, Glasgow, 7th March Definitely a book promo tour, but there’s nothing wrong with that. Turns out he’s an eloquent public speaker and funny bloke to boot. The part about the shed cracked me up.

| Re: Ben Goldacre lecture - Mitchell Library, Glasgow, 7th March Was quite good. My boyfriend enjoyed it which gives us, horror of horrors, a shared common interest. He definately needed much more than an hour though. |
