Isaac Asimov's Foundation Trilogy

I've never been a fan of sci-fi but I have nothing else at hand to read. Will I still be able to enjoy it even if I'm not a fan of the genre?

I don't really like sci-fi, but Asimov's stuff is good.

Aye, Foundation is a good read. Goes downhill a bit with books 4 and 5, but. Just read the first three.

Re: Isaac Asimov's Foundation Trilogy

It's years since i read that stuff, But I recall enjoying them. Not as much as all his robot stuff though; I'm about to finish re-reading all the Baley / Spacer ones (Caves of Steel, The Naked Sun, Robots of Dawn, Robots and Empire) and I've LOVED the I, Robot collection since I was a kid (It has some connection with the film). His short stories are also a lot of fun.

I haven't read a huge a mount of Sci-Fi but Asimov is at the top of the tree in that genre for me (along with Arthur C Clark and Robert Heinlein).
