its the joys of being a book nut... you get your book and get so into it you can put it down, you ditch the forum for it and sit up to obscenely late hours reading it, thinking "ill just read a few more pages" and poof 48 hours later the 500 page book is gone, like a slice of toast
maybe thats just me though

| Re: The Fifty Book Challenge Just read this post...already read around 9 novels since Jan 1st (1100+ pages on the planes alone just yesterday).
Chuck in my work tech manuals and graphic novels...hmm, I'll need to keep track now for this thread. Good idea though.
List (to be edited later...lucky mod powers): Bill Hicks: Love all the people - Bill Hicks, John Lahr
Harry Potter 1 and 4 (despite my previous books embargo, bought 'em for folks in the US as there's some apparent edits between UK/US books, and ran out of reading books on the plane) - JK Rowling
Dragon Wing - Weis and Hickman
Elven Star - Weis and Hickman
Fire Sea - Weis and Hickman
Serpent Mage - Weis and Hickman
The Hand of Chaos - Weis and Hickman
Apalling taste, obviously, but takes me to 8 so far this year - not counting graphic novels (another 7 or so graphic novels, but I really don't want to count those). This is what happens when I have no computer handy!
