| Attention everyone in SW Scotland Or anyone else who cares about community service provision in that part of the country. The following is a press release from a group called Dumfries Youth Activists - a group set up by and for young people in protest at Dumfries and Galloway Council's plans to cut 25% from the budget of the Community Learning and Development budget. This affects, among other things, adult education and services for vulnerable young people. I urge anyone living in the area to sign up to their MySpace (if you have one) and post a comment in support. And if you could attend any of their events, that would be even better. This matters. A lot. Thankyou. |
