Dave, the current manager, is very keen to get the music side of things up and running on a regular basis and as recently as Tuesday had said that all gigs are still free. If that's changed since then or I've misunderstood then just ignore everything I've said.
I'll confirm this next time I'm in.

£2.50's not much to pay for 3 bands but on the other hand some people may be put off by having to pay in if they don't want to see any bands and are only interested in the pub side of things.

I'm not too clear on what exactly is happening, so if you do find out I've got it wrong, please let me know.

Good stuff to hear better though.
And I too was a wee bitty confused by the gig being cheap but Kev being free! See how that one turns out. |

| Re: Loose Lips Sink Ships at The Halt, 18th March Indeed here i am
To answer some of the questions and to set aside any confusion
Gig's at The Halt are indeed free, Completely Free.
We no longer have the limiter in the bar. (For anyone interested that was because of a dispute with someone who used to live next door) she broke first and moved out. Bang!
Kev is completely free and is on every tuesday for some before rev banter
I Spoke to the promoter Campbell today and it was nothing more than crossed wires, and i'm sure everybody is looking forward to the gig, including myself.
Dave

| Re: Loose Lips Sink Ships at The Halt, 18th March The Halts actually a good venue to play in, I thought it was going to be shite, but after playing there its pretty sweet. And the bar is easy to climb on top of as well. |
