| Re: Lost Forum - Readme. 1 thread per episode seems a good idea. Most of teh Lost forums do that and have general chat threads...... |

it's not about episode 23 and 24 (well, it was never intended to be)
It's about the big stone foot.

| Re: Lost Forum - Readme. Can I also ask that if someone uses spoiler tags within a post, could they put some sort of indication of what episode the spoiler is from - I want to know if I can look at stuff or not |

It's about the big stone foot. | See, I think your idea here is wrong. Naming the threads after the subject spoils it for us who aren't as far through season 2 as you guys. Naming a thread "The Hatch" might not spoil things, but it does let people know that there is a hatch. (I know this is going far back and everyone knows about the hatch now, but it's the principle.)
It's just happened here again, "the big stone foot"? Cheers, I know it doesn't spoil much, but I now know that there is a "big stone foot".
I'm with Scapegoat on this one, simply have a thread titled "Season X Episode X" and talk about it in there. I would like if it we could have several threads for different subjects, but it ain't gonna work. I did voice my concerns about this in the initial "gives us a Lost forum" thread and hope it gets sorted soon.
I could simply just avoid the forum, but I don't want to, I wanna discuss the programme like everyone else without this landmine of a forum. |

But that makes discussing continuing themes a nightmare, and where it gets a bit daft.

| Re: Lost Forum - Readme. obviously some people want to go oooooooooooh about the episode they've just watched in which case season x episode y and name and some people who've seen lots might want to discuss themes etc / theories, in which case spoiler tags and hide, that way people who haven't seen quite as much as others can still join in with theories etc.
Seems a bit mean to limit people to just discussing things in individual threads about each episode. Half the funs in the theories about things.
Just maybe put a warning somewhere at the start that says people who take part in the theory threads say about the hatch or the foot do so at own risk as even though things have hide tags and spoiler warnings, they might see and get snippets of info. they don't want to see, in which case no one can then turn round and complain.
If it doesn't work it doesn't work and it needs rethought. That way no one should see things that should be hidden if they don't want to, but at the same token, no one's going to get into trouble if they accidentally forget to hide a word or something due to the statement about the nature of the threads anyway (kinda like the wellbeing forum) |

Guess not many others go for my approach to the Lost threads: that is, eagerly highlighting all the spoiler text prior to watching the episodes. I love/hate this place. |

Probs just my opinion on these things. |

Normally I'd simply avoid the forum and let everyone get on with it, but these threads are always gonna pop up in New Posts and I don't want things being leaked through thread titles for me or anyone else. |
