I figured Jack couldn't bring himself to go visit and see Aaron because he's found out by this point that Claire is his half-sister and that she's probably dead since Kate has Aaron at this point, so he doesn't want to be reminded of her.

Did Desmond not have a vision of Claire and Aaron going on to the helicopter to get off the island before Charlie died and that's one of the reasons why Charlie went down to the underwater place?

Aye, called it being Aaron a mile off though - good episode and season 4 has been excellent, they need a belter of an episode in the next few weeks though.

Yeah but doesnt mean they get home. The helicopter only goes so far as the frieghter. Anything can happen then.

I think they're all gonna end up off the island at some point. Some will go back from the freighter though.

I think when the '6' leave they've left so many other folk on the island - this season will just be about them deciding to go back. The flash forward from the last episode in season 3 is Jack deciding to go back, Hurley's already decided that he wants to go back and season 5 will be about them returning to the island.

Damon Lindelof, the co-exex producer has said that season 4 is about who gets off the island and the fact that they need to get back, season 5 is about why they need to get back to the island and season 6 is about what happens when they get back.

I reckon Claire had some sort of Sophie's Choice type debacle wherein she had to choose herself or her son, I don't think it's Kate gone crazy or anything. I have to say I'm getting very very bored of her antics, like in episode 1 I believe when she stole the handset off Jack and ended up fucking everything up. We GET IT, she doesn't take orders from anyone esp guys and she can also climb trees, she has trouble choosing between two guys and will often play people against each other, we GET IT, more of Sun and Jin plz.

I can't help feeling that if they weren't spinning it out for solely commercial reasons, you could do that in three episodes rather than three seasons.
