I found it a bit dull. The "suspense" was lessened greatly by that fact we knew they'd get off the island anyway. No real surprises at all. |

Did anyone else pick up on the throwaway line by Miles when talking to Charlotte that was along the lines of, "You spent all this time looking for it again, why would you want to leave?" Charlotte was young Ben's little girlfriend who made him the whittled wood doll?
Oh, and they totally stole the C4 explosive freezing from Metal Gear Solid 2.
OOOOH, and in the orientation video that Locke watched did anyone spot the bit where the Professor mentioned that you should make sure that there is no other matter in it? I was just waiting on Ben turning into The Fly!
Hmm, what else? Oh! The heartbeat monitor that Keamy had on that linked him to the boat - there is no way that it would be sending a signal to the boat from that far underground, 'cos as Ben said, it was "deep". Secondly, switching it to Ben or Locke's arm could have been an option if it was done really quickly since Keamy's heartbeat would have slowed right down before finally stopping.
Uh, - what happened to the boat-load of no-bodies and Faraday? Something else I wanted to throw out there - I don't know much about helicopters but it looks like if someone leaned out and another held on they could stick their finger in the hole?

The other thing that I really enjoyed was the symmetry of Jack and Sawyer. At the start of Lost Jack was running about the beach helping and saving people, and now he's the damaged guy taking tablets to get high etc, and Sawyer was the heroic guy who jumped out of the helicopter to make sure the others would make it home.
As we all know, a new group of intriguing characters enters Lost at the beginning of each season. Season 2 was the tail section survivors, Season 3 was Juliet and the Others, and Season 4, of course, was the freighter crew. An assistant to Darlton hinted that we can certainly expect a new group of characters for next season. Who do you think they will be? Who will be the group of characters that will be slowly revealed to us through flashbacks and clever introductions?
Here are some possibilities:
* The crew of the Black Rock
* Richard Alpert and the Others
* More of Widmore's henchmen
* Matthew Abaddon and associates
* Present-day Dharma Initiative
* A new crew to help the 06 get back to the Island | |

Nowhere near as irritatingly pompous and condescending.

Desmond said that disconnecting the battery would set the bomb off, freezing it wasjust the same as disconnecting it since they disabled it's ability (just like unplugging would). | |
