New ARG: Post Season 4.

Advert during the season finale for Octagon Global Recruitment starts off a new Lost ARG. Here is the link: http://octagonglobalrecruiting.com/ and I'll update this thread if and when I find anything else, and I ask that you all do the same.

The advert and site show that they are looking for the following positions:

As you'll notice I've made bold the first letter of each position, and if you read it from the bottom up it spells out, "Dharma Initiative," and you can see that 'engineers' is listed twice. The first four jobs: Meteorologists, Psychologists, Parapsychologists, and Zoologists are also the first four areas of research for the Dharma Initiative mentioned by Marvin Candle in the Swan Orientation film.

At the end of the video, a person can be seen typing the numbers 8 15 16 on the keyboard. Of course you also have that the logos of the DHARMA Initiative are octagons.

And the easier link to spot would be that the website mentions Dharma in every paragraph and says ON BEHALF OF THE DHARMA INITIATIVE at the bottom of the page.

It didn't have that on it for the first wee while that the site was up, for some reason.

I've registered my interest with my e-mail address, but I can't see me going to the Comic Con and I hope to Christ this isn't as bad as the one with that Rachel Blake burd travelling about.

First up, some photos of the Dharma panel at the Comic Con.









A youtube video was linked to in the source code of the latest Octogon email. It shows some sort of welcome video much like the sequence on the Dharma site, but intercut with images from the test and people talking in different languages. According to the comments, one of them is a German guy talking about the space-time continuum.

Just checked my e-mail and found the following e-mail:

ATTENTION ALL RECRUITS
RE: SECURITY BREACH AT COMIC-CON 2008

As many of you may be aware there have been a number of security breaches in recent days related to the nature of the Dharma Initiative's latest research.

Apart from the leak of a sensitive internal communication there was also the unauthorized release of confidential video documentation during a sponsored panel discussion with the makers of the TV show "LOST" at Comic-Con 2008 in San Diego. Consequently, the person responsible for this breach, a promising recruit by the name of Dan Bronson, has been expelled from the volunteer program and had his Dharma Initiative membership permanently revoked. Furthermore, the Dharma Initiative has withdrawn their sponsorship from "LOST".

The Dharma Initiative must stress that the video material leaked at Comic-Con 2008 was viewed entirely out of context. Furthermore, the way in which the material was presented utterly distorted its significance and credibility as scientific data.

The Dharma Initiative is extremely disappointed with this outcome and has ordered a security audit of all departments. As part of this audit the DharmaWantsYou recruiting website will undergo a security upgrade in the next few days.
Upon completion of this upgrade a date will be announced for the official commencement of Volunteer Assessments.

All recruits are reminded that the unauthorized release of confidential information pertaining to the details of your activities within the Dharma Initiative will result in instant dismissal from the volunteer program.

OT: My pal served one of the costume designers from Lost in Levis the other day. He asked what the smoke monster was - the dude didn't know, haha.
