| pub crawling, interesting conversation in GLasgow, Edinburgh and London Greetings everyone,
I'll be in GLasgow and Edinburgh between 26th to 31th of August. I'm from France and come in Scotland to prepare my future settling in.
I'd like to meet sociable and talkative people (boy or girl whatever, it's just for the pleasure of conversation and fun) who'd like to spend evenings with a friendly stranger in love with Scotland.
So if you want to have dinner, do some pub crawling (my favourite) or just go out, send me a message ;-)
I'll tell you more aobut me then. I'm also looking for pubs, clubs anything where you can listen to great music (cold wave, new wave, goth) and dance if posible.
You can check my myspace page at www.myspace.com/dandycadent if you want to learn more about me).
I'm looking forward to meeting you very soon!

When I say loads I mean 1.
And when I say one I mean Sebb. |

| Re: pub crawling, interesting conversation in GLasgow, Edinburgh and London Edinburgh is the better of the two cities for the types of music you’ve mentioned. If you can negotiate the streets full of Fringe Festival casualties, look for shops like Flip (over North Bridge and keep going) or Avalanche (various locations, Cockburn St is probably easiest to find) and check out flyers and posters in there to find the appropriate nightclubs.

Anyway, I don't really mind.
And no, this wasn't at all some clumsily disguised ad to rape some innocent girl... Just looking for interesting people.
I wasn't expecting any lady to answer at all, quite obvious knowing that I'm a man...
Anyway I have to say that I'm highly impressed by the general activity of the forum, sounds great to me.
Thanks to all who adviced me some places...
See you!

| Re: pub crawling, interesting conversation in GLasgow, Edinburgh and London welcome to alt nation.
in Glasgow we tend to congregate at Rufus T firefly and the solid rock. RGs on Queen street is a great pub, cheap drinks, good pub grub and proper measures. people get friendlier and more talkative as the night wears on- I'm sure you'll strike up some interesting converstaions. hope you enjoy your stay
